Cachila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gustavo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match USA got a corner. A.A. Cachila's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. Terri Moco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Terri Moco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terri Moco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Gustavo Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When USA's Edward Mcdonald in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.A. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Gustavo Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 38th minute of play. A.A. Cachila's Higinio Brun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raphael Moore in the 43 minute of the game. Edward Mcdonald took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Hartz. Gustavo Hartz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terri Moco to strike the kick off in the second half. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 60th minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Gustavo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Gustavo Hartz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terri Moco in the 73rd minute of play. A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Rodrigo Astudillo replaced Terri Moco. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Ulises Elia replaced Jonas Orlo. Gustavo Hartz stood somewhat misplaced when Marco Baker came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 83 minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Astudillo in the 90th minute of the match. A.A. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Baker in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Gustavo Hartz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
