The supporters of USA booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Fikus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Colas Valdueza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the game, Cassius Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benedicto Ireno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Colas Valdueza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Colas Valdueza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márk Stephen in the 33rd minute of play. Colas Valdueza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Colas Valdueza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Marco Day was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Colas Valdueza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Colas Valdueza made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Ireno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cassius Byrne in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Jeremias Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Edward Mcdonald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedicto Ireno. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yin Wei Yi in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute Yin Wei Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yin Wei Yi in the 68th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedicto Ireno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 70th minute of the match. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Teodosio Montes. But to his dismay, Teodosio Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. With a little luck, C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Khalid Parry was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yin Wei Yi, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Marco Baker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
