In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th play minute Anselmo Thomas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Jairo Baraquiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Jairo Baraquiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Lawrence Lawless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Jairo Baraquiel took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Descamisados CF's Lawrence Lawless played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes in the game Arturo Salomone did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Anselmo Thomas. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Descamisados CF getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Placido Claris hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lawrence Lawless made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 62nd match minute, Descamisados CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Mazon to maneuver through the defense. Descamisados CF made a substitution. Lawrence Lawless was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Adrian Txartiko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 85th minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Lawrence Lawless to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Txartiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Indiano. After 90 minutes, Adrian Txartiko made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 94 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Descamisados CF's Celestino Artaldo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-4 in the ordered_time% minute.
