Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Romero got free with Dante Lacasa in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evaristo Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Pedrinho Godoi got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th match minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Machado to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 21st minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Alvaro Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Rudolfo. Alvaro Rudolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alvaro Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play. When Thor Machado came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Coritiba Foot Ball Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thor Machado couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Coritiba Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alvaro Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Marquez Padolles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Fausto Romero sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fausto Romero. If Fausto Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico were furious when Luca Rouco was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Márk Sári's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Alvaro Rudolfo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Eduardo Dracena's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Alvaro Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Romero came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Evaristo Montenegro got a free kick in the 77th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Alvaro Rudolfo made a huge save. Alvaro Rudolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 95th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
