Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Fermin Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Farid Lucifer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. Luis Andino's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Farid Lucifer on his right side and into the goal. 12 minutes into the game it was 0-1. In the 20th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Lucifer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Farid Lucifer was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Farid Lucifer. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 43 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Farid Lucifer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Farid Lucifer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Lucifer was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Lucifer came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Estebe in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Farid Lucifer made a huge save. In the 61st minute Elvio Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Farid Lucifer quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Hipolito Cidro was substituted for Eduardo Louis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 74th minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Farid Lucifer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Farid Lucifer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Farid Lucifer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner.
