Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Áron Bódog got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Eliseo Mina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Moreno having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Áron Bódog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, one of ADM Taquaras:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeremias Moreno had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Luz Tejedor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Radowit Dziuma replaced Nestor Soeiro. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute ADM Taquaras were awarded a corner. Áron Bódog went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Radowit Dziuma heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 66th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
