Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Panama's Tomas Berganza started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emil Malewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. The corner led Sikilaçi's Fausto Vaiani to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcos Cotilla despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nel Caraballo in the 11th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Nel Caraballo sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nel Caraballo sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. 24 minutes into the match, Nel Caraballo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nel Caraballo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 31st minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Álvaro Vilaça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nel Caraballo in the 39th minute. Sikilaçi's Fausto Vaiani got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nel Caraballo to make the kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nel Caraballo, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Malewicz having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Sikilaçi's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Emil Malewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Sikilaçi got a freekick which was hit by Mirkelam Şahinalp. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nel Caraballo in the 61st minute of the match. Mirkelam Şahinalp kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Sikilaçi booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alp Arslan kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 78th minute, Djordje Nedzipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sikilaçi's Emil Malewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Malewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nel Caraballo in the 85th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alp Arslan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sikilaçi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
