Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Mexico booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank de Boer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Olalla came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 23rd minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piearres Olalla in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robin Boelens was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Boelens in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Boelens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jan Wessel made a huge save. Frank de Boer hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The Underdogs's Riemer Fries was substituted for Frank de Boer. An unexpected shot in the 78th minute by Alberto Tafalla got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Wessel. That made the score 2-4 after 84 minutes of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ed Palsma fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Underdogs's protests and gave Ed Palsma a yellow card for diving instead. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Alberto Tafalla. After 90 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Ed Palsma. After 92 minutes, Piearres Olalla made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
