Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Indiano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. 2 minutes into the game, one of Chile:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sivert Eliasson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Fevzi Baykara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Fevzi Baykara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Alfred Nocny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Śląsk Bytom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Nocny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulryk Miazga in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Aleksander Birkenhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fevzi Baykara got free with Thiago Pliego in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Miazga came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Casaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 53rd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mariano Lacasa fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chile's protests and gave Mariano Lacasa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Mariano Lacasa hit a great ball. Fevzi Baykara scored 2-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Felix Garrido in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Śląsk Bytom's Kazimierz Ewertowski. When Śląsk Bytom's Fevzi Baykara in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 81st minute Fevzi Baykara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Felix Garrido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Śląsk Bytom players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Garrido hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fevzi Baykara in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sivert Eliasson who took care of the corner kick. 90 minutes in the game Guillermo Fontirroig got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal.
