Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles De Meur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Germán Bersabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Árpád Sóti kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles De Meur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles De Meur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s goalkeeper Charles De Meur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charles De Meur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute of play forced Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s goalkeeper Charles De Meur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germán Bersabe in the 42nd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Björkdahl was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Björkdahl in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miklós Szalay kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Charles De Meur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Székely, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Charles De Meur was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Árpád Sóti charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Árpád Sóti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 90th playminute. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Charles De Meur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Berkshire Harthaway FC. from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Charles De Meur came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Berkshire Harthaway FC..
