With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Napalone surykatki's Tanek Czerner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pawel Czysta struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napalone surykatki. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pontus Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Beniamin Jaraczewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Napalone surykatki and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beniamin Jaraczewski hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beniamin Jaraczewski in the 61st minute of play. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pontus Jönsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Napalone surykatki fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Napalone surykatki's Beniamin Jaraczewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 85 minutes into the match, Beniamin Jaraczewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beniamin Jaraczewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 90th minute, Zakarias Skoldborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Pontus Jönsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Napalone surykatki players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
