After 12 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Chirilă who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Costin Neacșu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 20th minute of play. Nistor Mereuță hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Chirilă in the 25th minute. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 27th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Podgoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 38th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. -BZF- Viper eSports's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Chirilă in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viper eSports's Dan Chirilă got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The audience was convinced that Niculae Podgoreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Dan Chirilă charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Chirilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dan Chirilă hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

58 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viper eSports's goalkeeper Silviu Lung had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 60th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Silviu Lung quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Costin Neacșu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes -BZF- Viper eSports got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Moiș. Silviu Lung made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Podgoreanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Niculae Podgoreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Podgoreanu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Vintilă Bordeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nistor Mereuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Xander-Paul De Coster charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xander-Paul De Coster the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Felix Montenegro. In the 74th minute, one of -BZF- Viper eSports:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -BZF- Viper eSports. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Lung. -BZF- Viper eSports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Silviu Lung, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Viper eSports's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silviu Lung came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Felix Montes fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of -BZF- Viper eSports booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silviu Lung. -BZF- Viper eSports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. -BZF- Viper eSports's Dan Chirilă got his second yellow card of the match in the 93rd minute. The referee ordered Dan Chirilă off the ground. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Viper eSports's Xander-Paul De Coster got a free kick in the 96th minute. Silviu Lung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 97th minute of the match. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
