Egun Zapico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Unai Sócrates in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unai Sócrates in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egun Zapico saved ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ from getting behind. Egun Zapico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Unai Sócrates in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Yuri Portugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Zapico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şeray İhtiyar managed to trick Fauna Utd's defense and made a shot which however Radamel Hendrickx didn't slip through. A nice save in the 32ndth minute. Radamel Hendrickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevão Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Yuri Portugal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fauna Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. After the first half Fauna Utd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yuri Portugal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egun Zapico was left in no man's land by his defense there!
