If Ignacio Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, GARGOYLES's Ignacio Alvarez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Ignacio Alvarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Ignacio Alvarez suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 25 minutes into the game, Antonio Indiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GARGOYLES the free kick. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dochko Badzhov, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. GARGOYLES had played much better football throughout.
