The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Rudqvist in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Fredric Rudqvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 9th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Kvist in the 11th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stor Banan in the 14th minute of play. When Sacri FC's Fredric Rudqvist in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Rudqvist in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sacri FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Karl-Axel Olsman hit a great ball. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. Sacri FC's Ernst Dahlberg was substituted for Leonard Kristiansson. A hard shot by Karl-Axel Olsman from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Benito Sanz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the match Karl-Axel Olsman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredric Rudqvist in the 38th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludwig Beneth in the 42nd minute of the match. Stor Banan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 47th minute Fredric Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Axel Tasis had several of the Sacri FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Arvid Bremming as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Sacri FC's Arvid Bremming got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Olsman in the 58th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Sacri FC's Fredric Rudqvist. But to his dismay, Fredric Rudqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arvid Bremming breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Stor Banan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Rudqvist in the 66th minute of the match. Karl-Axel Olsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Karl-Axel Olsman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Rudqvist in the 76th minute of play. When Sacri FC's Ingvar Kvist in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Haraldsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sacri FC had played much better football throughout.
