Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AZAT MARD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Arenstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Löfdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Waller to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Pär Löfdahl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Olsman in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
