MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Răducanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lütfü Öktemer. In the 29th minute, Claudiu Răducanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Anıl Öveç got free with Marco Day in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Răducanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfü Öktemer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Lütfü Öktemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. Lütfü Öktemer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Marco Baker notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer. Lütfü Öktemer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to MARAZZINO getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. When the final whistle sounded USA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MARAZZINO.
