The tension between the Ezber Bozan FK and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Ezber Bozan FK got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Marin. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nofre Amorebieta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ezber Bozan FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Ezber Bozan FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nofre Amorebieta quite easily take care of the ball. Nofre Amorebieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 38th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nofre Amorebieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Bahattin Pektürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik de Vos in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Domenik de Vos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domenik de Vos's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Ezber Bozan FK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elberg Monte ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Onur Ali Şen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The Ezber Bozan FK fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Ezber Bozan FK's Onur Ali Şen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 77 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elberg Monte who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ezber Bozan FK's corner Elberg Monte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nofre Amorebieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Onur Ali Şen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onur Ali Şen, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvise Nasuti in the 88th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Nasuti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Elberg Monte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 96 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. In the 97th minute, Elberg Monte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ecuador's Julio Vera didn't even have to move. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
