Abelardo Erlantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 刘旭震 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristian Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abelardo Erlantz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Cesar Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes La Vuelta del Malon got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Maidana. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Erlantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Erlantz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Erlantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Cesar Ruy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abelardo Erlantz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 刘旭震 made a kick off. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Lucio Maidana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 刘旭震 in the 61st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84thth minute of the game 刘旭震 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stoyo Abazov in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, La Vuelta del Malon's goalkeeper Abelardo Erlantz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Abelardo Erlantz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. La Vuelta del Malon were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
