Justo Viator lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. UE Cornella:s Justin Abril showed great skill when he stopped Juan-Carlos Cervantes:s penalty. In the 15th minute Quin Camaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UE Cornella's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edvin Vennerberg in the 17th minute. Justin Abril made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Yves Lacoste sent off a good shot on target. After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. UE Cornella's Seve Grau started the play with the initial kick off. Leripe Lifestyle's Paredes Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seve Grau in the 99th minute of play. In the 104th minute Xabat Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 105 minutes into the match, Leripe Lifestyle's goal looked a bit too open when Quin Camaño came free, but Paredes Soberano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 109 minutes of play, UE Cornella's Seve Grau made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paredes Soberano was left in no man's land by his defense there! UE Cornella's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
