Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nagyváradi AC reached it. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.
After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Nagyváradi AC's Vencel Pápai started the play with the initial kick off. Jos Van Hinnendael didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benny Koks went, in the 104th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ★★★ Lightning Dragons★★★ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
