Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniil Fomin kicked off to start the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Alan Tamayo put in a rough tackle. In the 7th minute, one of Chile:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chile. Paolo Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C.'s Paolo Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guillermo Fontirroig struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Andrey Dvoryankin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. After 29 played minutes Arsenal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aris Potamiotis. Andrey Dvoryankin came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig. But to his dismay, Guillermo Fontirroig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Paolo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Paolo Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Casaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniil Fomin in the 56th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrey Dvoryankin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Fontirroig in the 57th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Casaus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arsenal F.C.'s Stanislav Sharapov was substituted for Paolo Rossi. Arsenal F.C.'s Afanasiy Maslyannikov was substituted for Artem Savin. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Sharapov in the 71st minute of play. Daniil Fomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. Stanislav Sharapov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Arsenal F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrey Dvoryankin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Casaus. In the 94th minute, Stanislav Sharapov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Arsenal F.C. were victorious despite being under pressure from Chile for much of the match.
