Timur Ulum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Timur Ulum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes in the game Mateo Leguizamo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Valentino Ferrant. When El Salvador's Moises Fernandino in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trabzonspor's goalie prevented a goal. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Timur Ulum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. After some careless play in the Trabzonspor defense, Abram Luque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timur Ulum. The Trabzonspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timur Ulum should have stopped the shot. Abram Luque scored 0-4 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timur Ulum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 28th play minutes Moises Fernandino shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Timur Ulum and just under the crossbar into goal. Timur Ulum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nurkan Gürgen charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nurkan Gürgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nurkan Gürgen kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Luis Rubio made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trabzonspor's Mahmoud Trezeguet. In the 42nd minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trabzonspor's attentive Mahmoud Trezeguet managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. In the 47th minute of the game Bilge Kağan Doğan made a throw-in which Alim Çavas played forward. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hızır Dicle was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the game Luis Rubio made a throw-in which Moises Fernandino played forward. Timur Ulum came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 62 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Trabzonspor's Mahmoud Trezeguet quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Trabzonspor's Mahmoud Trezeguet. Trabzonspor's attentive Mahmoud Trezeguet managed to snatch the ball when Luis Rubio made a throw-in in the 64th minute of the game. Alim Çavas struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trabzonspor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alim Çavas in the 68th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trabzonspor's Mahmoud Trezeguet managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Rubio in the 69 minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzonspor's Bilge Kağan Doğan. But to his dismay, Bilge Kağan Doğan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Luis Rubio hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the game Joshua Curbelo made a throw-in which Abram Luque played forward. With a little luck, Trabzonspor's Timur Ulum got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trabzonspor's attentive Alim Çavas managed to snatch the ball when Mateo Leguizamo made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. The throw-in from Luis Rubio in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trabzonspor's Bilge Kağan Doğan. With a little luck, Trabzonspor's Timur Ulum got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Nurkan Gürgen with Alim Çavas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luis Rubio made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Joshua Curbelo immediately put the ball in play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. El Salvador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
