Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 2nd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Rejunte de perros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernesto Natanael in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 7 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ernesto Natanael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 10 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Rejunte de perros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 12th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Ixidor in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play forced Rejunte de perros's goalkeeper Ernesto Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Rudolfo got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ruben Tohias. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Natanael having to interfere. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. Dario Ixona did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 33 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes of play Rejunte de perros's Casimiro Rudolfo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Casimiro Rudolfo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Timoteo Herena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rejunte de perros's Fulgencio Ixidor got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 54th minute. Timoteo Herena, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rogelio Herauso hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Rejunte de perros's Ernesto Natanael got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Dario Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ernesto Natanael was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 66 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Ernesto Natanael threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led to Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jonathan Venegas got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ernesto Natanael handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Rejunte de perros getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rogelio Herauso hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Ixona in the 90th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Rejunte de perros's Dario Ixona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ernesto Natanael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
