Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Ricardo Bochini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Pero in the 13th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 21st minute of play. Aldo Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Bochini in the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Ricardo Bochini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 30th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldo Mannie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Mannie having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Grassme came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ripa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest.

After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aldo Mannie quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Gu Chang Peng sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. 72 minutes into the match, Gu Chang Peng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gu Chang Peng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 75th minute, Gu Chang Peng got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldo Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aldo Mannie, 2-3. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 95th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4.
