To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Rogers in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 60th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassius Byrne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Ulises Steven skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cassius Byrne who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Ulises Steven when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semi Acartürk in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute AFC Koolkerke were awarded a corner. Tang Di Nan went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 77th minute, Monty Rogers made a precise shot to the right of Ulises Steven. AFC Koolkerke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Campbell in the 81st minute of the match. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
