Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. Hernan Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Varela in the 8th minute of the match. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BERMEJO's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Joaquin Lorien dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-1. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Goren having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hernan Goren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Javier Burutzagi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 37th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Ariel Seber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BERMEJO and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ariel Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 41st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Marcos Cotilla had in the 51stth minute some difficulties stopping Rogelio Senen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Jacinto Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacinto Varela hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With a little luck, BERMEJO's Hernan Goren got control of the ball when Miguel Miralles tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute Javier Burutzagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. After having played for 92 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacinto Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Romildo in the 99th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. BERMEJO had won after a very even match.
