The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11th minute, Ahmet Refik Ülgü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georgi Velinov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Perkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Benedykt Perkowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szczakowianka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ahmet Refik Ülgü managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CSKA's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Refik Ülgü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erdi Bender breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erdi Bender prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Zeledon Lain in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC CSKA's Tanel Kiik. Szczakowianka made a substitution. Boguslaw Porajewski replaced Yan Chen Yan. Georgi Dimitrov hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Radowit Ogrodowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgi Velinov having to interfere. A hard shot 41 in the game by Luis Elequemedo from a close distance when the talented Georgi Velinov managed to make a qualified save. FC CSKA's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 45th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Erdi Bender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georgi Velinov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdi Bender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 59th minute of play. FC CSKA's Georgi Velinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 60th minute of play. Petter Haukenes made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Boguslaw Porajewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 63rd minute of play forced FC CSKA's goalkeeper Georgi Velinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erdi Bender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Refik Ülgü in the 65th minute of play. FC CSKA's Ahmet Refik Ülgü got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC CSKA's Ruslan Dzhalev was substituted for Ahmet Refik Ülgü. In the 70th minute Radowit Ogrodowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruslan Dzhalev might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erdi Bender. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruslan Dzhalev ran back to his position shaking his head. Szczakowianka's Erdi Bender proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Szczakowianka from getting a goal against them. Radowit Ogrodowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Georgi Velinov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radowit Ogrodowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Luis Elequemedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georgi Velinov was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. In the 91st minute of the match Szczakowianka got a corner. FC CSKA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedykt Perkowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Szczakowianka's corner Benedykt Perkowski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Georgi Velinov quite easily take care of the ball. Erdi Bender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruslan Dzhalev in the 92nd minute of the match. Ruslan Dzhalev took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdi Bender. Erdi Bender dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
