The corner ended in Silvestre Loi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Psycho-Circus's Genaro Asur did a great save. When Claudio-Paul Caniggia fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Psycho-Circus's protests and gave Claudio-Paul Caniggia a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio-Paul Caniggia hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute 武 杨广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Matuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Psycho-Circus's Genaro Asur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Loi in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the Psycho-Circus defense, Silvestre Loi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genaro Asur. The Psycho-Circus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genaro Asur should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Psycho-Circus's zone, Éthan Pichard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genaro Asur came out of the goal and Éthan Pichard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Psycho-Circus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Derek Henderson was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to SV Bad Harzburg's Jurek Ohrem getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Silvestre Loi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Psycho-Circus's Genaro Asur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 69th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Loi came free, but Genaro Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
