Donato Elivareo might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moise Zbârcea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Elivareo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calistrat Brezoi got free with Nicolas Perrando in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Feliberto Sustrai sped through TOP-STAKES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Moise Zbârcea. After 14 minutes, Radoslaw Jaruzelski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOP-STAKES and the EL CORTO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of EL CORTO FC booed when TOP-STAKES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Jaruzelski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 minutes of play, EL CORTO FC's Ismael Kauldi made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moise Zbârcea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ismael Kauldi scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Moise Zbârcea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moise Zbârcea came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by EL CORTO FC's Feliberto Sustrai. But to his dismay, Feliberto Sustrai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Nicolas Perrando made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Antoni Piwowarski sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when TOP-STAKES's Zbyszek Gdowski fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Moise Zbârcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Kauldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Tonhão Basso kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. EL CORTO FC's Nicolas Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Dytrych in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to EL CORTO FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wolf-Rüdiger Wipp hit a great ball. Vincent Koerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Perrando having to make a save. After the first half EL CORTO FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliberto Sustrai was the one to do the kick off. Byron Geiger hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With his leg Moise Zbârcea managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when EL CORTO FC's Feliberto Sustrai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 57th minute Calistrat Brezoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. EL CORTO FC's Nicolas Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Gdowski in the 60th minute of play. Feliberto Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, TOP-STAKES's Moise Zbârcea got control of the ball when Feliberto Sustrai tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Elivareo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moise Zbârcea saved TOP-STAKES from getting behind. The supporters of TOP-STAKES booed when EL CORTO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes, TOP-STAKES's Vincent Koerts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Perrando came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TOP-STAKES reached it. Nicolas Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Juchno in the 82nd minute of play. Nicolas Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calistrat Brezoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nicolas Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Brezoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. EL CORTO FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
