Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Loi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selahaddin Esentürk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvestre Loi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selahaddin Esentürk having to make a save. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nélson Sousa in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch got control of the ball when Kerim Altunbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on AMLUCHO's corner Jackie Banks fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacek Matuch quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nélson Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerim Altunbaş in the 52nd minute of play.
