Sagarana Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yu Yang Sang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Yu Yang Sang made the kick off in the second half. Natasha Sjøholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éder Madureira in the 51st minute of the match. Jochem Klooster's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Benedito Trigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Benedito Trigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo got control of the ball when Jochem Klooster tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Jochem Klooster reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benedito Trigo. The goal made the score 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Griskultingarnas FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sagarana Clube.
