The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when MARAZZINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ball Pitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lütfü Öktemer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Loi made a kick off. When Mieszko Pilsudski came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the MARAZZINO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mieszko Pilsudski couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's goal looked a bit too open when Jurek Ohrem came free, but Lütfü Öktemer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 78th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lütfü Öktemer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lütfü Öktemer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 89th minute of the match. A collision led to SV Bad Harzburg getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Roberto Carlos hit a great ball. Roberto Carlos made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MARAZZINO's Svetomir Maier. Claudiu Răducanu struck a weak shot in the 96th minute.
