In the 22nd minute Ahmet Ali Yücesan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bixente Poli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bixente Poli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Ali Yücesan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Bixente Poli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ali Yücesan in the 29th minute of play. Xiao Zhen Yun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bixente Poli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. H4K.BR's Samuca Ramalho was substituted for Severo Barbosa. Kingpins's Pål Hammarström was substituted for Karl-Johan Gregersson. Bixente Poli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Travassos in the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, H4K.BR's Tarcisio Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bixente Poli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.
