In the 3rd match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mao Hai Zhen to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Kingpins's Bixente Poli got control of the ball when Emmerich Hatschek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yan Guo Qiang in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albérico Igrejas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albérico Igrejas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yan Guo Qiang's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Wawrzyniec Pysz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Albérico Igrejas, a very annoying self made goal in the 9th minute which led to 0-1. Mao Hai Zhen hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kingpins's goal looked a bit too open when Lavallén Pelon came free, but Bixente Poli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Kingpins's Bixente Poli got control of the ball when Emmerich Hatschek tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kingpins's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nuno Teves was slow to take the kick. During this time Sport Maia's players had a chance to rest. After 32 minutes, Lavallén Pelon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Maia and the Kingpins players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Sport Maia got a freekick which was hit by Lavallén Pelon. Albérico Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Guo Qiang in the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Kingpins's Victorino Euloxu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albérico Igrejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Euloxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Kingpins got a corner. Sport Maia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lu Qing Ang ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Josep Casanova came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Kingpins fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josep Casanova couldn't finish the play. In the 59th play minute Yan Guo Qiang came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Albérico Igrejas. 0-3. In the 62nd minute, Lavallén Pelon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sport Maia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Kingpins's Harry Sjö was substituted for Victorino Euloxu. The crowd rose to their feet as Kingpins's Harry Sjö slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albérico Igrejas. That made the score 1-4 after 66 minutes of play. Sport Maia made a substitution. Hilário Malheiro replaced Francisco Trinca. Bixente Poli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilário Malheiro in the 72nd minute of play. Bixente Poli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmerich Hatschek in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Emmerich Hatschek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bixente Poli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kingpins's Bixente Poli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilário Malheiro in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes in the game, Harry Sjö fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Albérico Igrejas having to interfere. Albérico Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Sjö in the 93rd minute of the match. Emmerich Hatschek kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sport Maia lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
