In the 3rd minute Franco Bosch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georgi Velinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georgi Velinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 13th minute of play. Bradley de Nooijer hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 23rd play minutes Franco Bosch shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Georgi Velinov and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 26th minute, Cordario Bazarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Sadurni. After having played for 35 minutes, Georgi Dimitrov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC CSKA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georgi Dimitrov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Hans Danielsson in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Bob Morley. In the 46th minute, Cordario Bazarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Bosch was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, FC CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Georgi Velinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC CSKA made a substitution. Ruslan Dzhalev replaced Ahmet Refik Ülgü. In the 65th match minute, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordario Bazarra to maneuver through the defense. Téo Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermengol Baena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Franco Bosch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georgi Velinov. FC CSKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franco Bosch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Franco Bosch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georgi Velinov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Georgi Dimitrov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ermengol Baena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
