In the 5th minute Silvestre Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Mentis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 18th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hieronim Mentis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Loi made a kick off. Hieronim Mentis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Roberto Carlos got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Roberto Carlos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Juraj Broz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes in the game Tim Bodenschatz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Juraj Broz. Robert Wnukowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Silvestre Loi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hieronim Mentis. Radomiak Radom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Loi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 71st minute, Harry Maguire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hieronim Mentis made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Jurek Ohrem sent off a good shot on target. When SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Wnukowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvestre Loi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hieronim Mentis. That made the score 1-2 in the 89 minute of play. The SV Bad Harzburg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SV Bad Harzburg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
