When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Donato Marques took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Albérico Igrejas to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute, Mathias Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, Sport Maia's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz Vides came free, but Albérico Igrejas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Vides in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Igrejas saved Sport Maia from getting behind. In the 35th minute, André Luiz Vides ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albérico Igrejas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Francisco Trinca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Maia's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Trinca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilário Malheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claes Hellgren kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Sport Maia's Hilário Malheiro in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was a well-played corner which André Luiz Vides managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save BMB IMOVEIS SC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, André Luiz Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albérico Igrejas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Sérgio de Azevedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hilário Malheiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 67 minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Francisco Trinca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo got control of the ball when Hilário Malheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. BMB IMOVEIS SC were victorious despite being under pressure from Sport Maia for much of the match.
