With a little luck, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões got control of the ball when José Luis Cuciuffo tried to sneak it across the goal line. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when José Luis Cuciuffo scored to the left of an out of position Luisão Simões, making the score, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Franky Van Der Elst elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Franky Van Der Elst. Luisão Simões came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo. But to his dismay, José Luis Cuciuffo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's goalkeeper Luisão Simões had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Luis Cuciuffo. After 31 minutes, José Luis Cuciuffo made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões got control of the ball when José Luis Cuciuffo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luisão Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Luis Cuciuffo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franky Van Der Elst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If José Luis Cuciuffo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodney Church showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Neļķis in the 53rd minute of the match. Kader Picar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Dave Fleming managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Fleming was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisão Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, José Luis Cuciuffo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Simões. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Luis Cuciuffo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Memphis Grizzlies's Brian Patterson was substituted for Harry Johnson. Memphis Grizzlies's Peter Wiltshire was substituted for Franky Van Der Elst. If Peter Wiltshire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Gomes to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Franz Henry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisão Simões was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Luisão Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luisão Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
