Gez Winship was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Luis Cuciuffo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 12th playminute. In the 18th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Fleming to maneuver through the defense. Gaudencio Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Luis Cuciuffo in the 20th minute of the match. Gez Winship stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Gotzon's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Gez Winship played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Gotzon in the 28th minute of play. Gaudencio Richie made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes ZORZAL01's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dave Fleming who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franky Van Der Elst in the 38th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Gaudencio Richie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Memphis Grizzlies defense, Edgardo Nardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gez Winship. The Memphis Grizzlies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gez Winship should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaudencio Richie narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franky Van Der Elst was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Cuciuffo didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Luis Cuciuffo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Richie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Gez Winship came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by ZORZAL01's Paolo Gotzon. But to his dismay, Paolo Gotzon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Luis Cuciuffo in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Richie saved ZORZAL01 from getting behind. 66 minutes into the game, Ken Blackwater was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Memphis Grizzlies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZORZAL01 the free kick. Ken Blackwater kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Memphis Grizzlies's Franz Henry was substituted for José Luis Cuciuffo. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Peter Wiltshire replaced Franky Van Der Elst. Ken Blackwater hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Leonel Unai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gez Winship showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in ZORZAL01 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of ZORZAL01:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Memphis Grizzlies:s goal. After a long run with the ball, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge did a trick in the 79th minute in front of ZORZAL01's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-3. An impressive performance by Memphis Grizzlies's Karl-Heinz Rummenigge! In the 83rd match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Darien to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes ZORZAL01's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dave Fleming who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Memphis Grizzlies's Dave Fleming to fire away a dangerous shot which Gaudencio Richie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leonel Unai kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Richie was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Gaudencio Richie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in the 98th minute of play.
