Humberto Xavier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walmir Freitas's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Jair Messias showed that he had a good understanding of the play in the 32nd match minute when he surprised Brasilino's defense and shot 3-0 in the right cross. Kauan Fernandes had several of the Brasilino's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Humberto Xavier as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Dantas during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Humberto Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jair Messias in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Brasilino defense, Walmir Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Xavier. The Brasilino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Xavier should have stopped the shot. Jair Messias took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Humberto Xavier. Humberto Xavier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 62nd match minute, Brasilino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Brasilino's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Fernandes came free, but Humberto Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Kauan Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jair Messias went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Brasilino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauan Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Humberto Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Xavier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jair Messias went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Brasilino were furious when Carlos Eduardo Maranhense was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 89th minute, Carlos Eduardo Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Jair Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Xavier was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0.
