When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Elói Nogueira took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Severiano Santo to make any attempt to save it. Severiano Santo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Bruno da Costa. But to his dismay, Bruno da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Montae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisão Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Jokin's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Neļķis came free, but Severiano Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG's Luisão Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Montae in the 37th minute of play. When Jaime Ekhi fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Amboy FC's protests and gave Jaime Ekhi a yellow card for diving instead. After 50 minutes, Bruno da Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TROMBETA DO APOCALIPSE MG and the Amboy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
