An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Eli in the 4th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Jose Miguel Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Chabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Miguel Marin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Chabier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 7th minute Matias Filipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Miguel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Miguel Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Bento in the 24th minute of play. Jose Miguel Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes in the game, Marcelo Quijada fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vicente Rius having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in GuateFortín's zone, Octavio Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Miguel Marin came out of the goal and Octavio Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Terremoto FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Raitin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Mora during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Ricardo Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Jose Miguel Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Gabriel Brizuela mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the Terremoto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Terremoto FC booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Brizuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Bento was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 60 minutes of play GuateFortín's Ricardo Mora was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Ricardo Mora got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute, GuateFortín's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Damian Castel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Castel got free with Jose Miguel Marin in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Quijada in the 71st minute of play. Terremoto FC's Vicente Rius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Viscarra in the 74th minute of play. Marcelo Quijada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Vicente Rius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Miguel Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Eli in the 88th minute of the match. Jose Miguel Marin made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Juan Chabier sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GuateFortín's goalkeeper Jose Miguel Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornelio Hermelando struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Jose Miguel Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terremoto FC. In the 96th minute GuateFortín were awarded a corner. Marcelo Quijada went to the cornerflag to take it. GuateFortín's Marcelo Quijada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vicente Rius in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Terremoto FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
