The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Nardo got free with Faustino Horado in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Nardo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustino Horado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 4th minute of the match ZORZAL01 got a corner. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonel Unai ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Paolo Gotzon advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 4th minute. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. It was a penalty for ZORZAL01! The referee gave ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredo Rencio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ZORZAL01's Gaudencio Richie. 1-1. The supporters of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Dalmau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Confesor charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Horacio Confesor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 33 minutes into the game, one of ZORZAL01:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Teodoro Salomon managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodoro Salomon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Richie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Faustino Horado made a huge save. Gregorio Cortez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 45th playminute.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Nardo made a kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Mariano Damario commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for ZORZAL01. Leonel Unai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Faustino Horado. 3-2. 59 minutes into the match, Edgardo Nardo notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Faustino Horado. Faustino Horado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Firmo came free, but Faustino Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. ZORZAL01 made a substitution. Abelardo Vimaro replaced Benjamin Firmo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Nardo in the 66th minute of play forced ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalkeeper Faustino Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Rencio. When Gregorio Cortez came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the ZORZAL01 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Cortez couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Teodoro Salomon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Richie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ZORZAL01's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Teodoro Salomon scored to the left of an out of position Gaudencio Richie, making the score, 4-3. Abelardo Vimaro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
