In the 30th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Rios to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Miguel Marin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Mora didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Nardo to make the kick off.
