Maximino Aznaro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Maximino Aznaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gez Winship quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the game, Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Santo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jaime Ekhi's late challenge caught a Memphis Grizzlies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Ekhi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Ekhi to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute José Luis Cuciuffo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Gabirel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Amboy FC's Severiano Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, José Luis Cuciuffo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Severiano Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severiano Santo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's Franky Van Der Elst. But to his dismay, Franky Van Der Elst quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 31st minute, Baldomiro Cloyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If José Luis Cuciuffo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 37 minutes, José Luis Cuciuffo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Amboy FC's Severiano Santo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Luis Cuciuffo in the 42nd minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Severiano Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes in the game Joaquin Ipar did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jaime Ekhi. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Franky Van Der Elst made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Baldomiro Cloyo hit a great ball. In the 55thth minute of the game Franky Van Der Elst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Severiano Santo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Franky Van Der Elst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Severiano Santo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Franky Van Der Elst dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severiano Santo, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Gabirel in the 67th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Gez Winship to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Dave Fleming. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Brian Patterson replaced Harry Johnson. Memphis Grizzlies's Franz Henry was substituted for José Luis Cuciuffo. After 69 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Dave Fleming. After 70 played minutes, Amboy FC's Maximino Aznaro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gez Winship came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Amboy FC reached it. Amboy FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Franz Henry 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Memphis Grizzlies walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
