A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Danilo Viscarra hit a great ball. When Júnior Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the ≮王者归来≯News at 11 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Meirelles couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Orlando Morales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Miguel Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Dias in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Mora to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Marco Dias made a precise shot to the right of Jose Miguel Marin. GuateFortín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Marcelo Quijada came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the GuateFortín fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯News at 11 booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Alvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelo Quijada made a kick off. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Dias in the 60th minute of play. Danilo Viscarra struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ernani Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GuateFortín. If Glauco Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Jose Miguel Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Abraão. Glauco Abraão blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Miguel Marin having to make a save. Jose Miguel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glauco Abraão in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Jaime Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. Jose Miguel Marin made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Glauco Abraão sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of GuateFortín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ≮王者归来≯News at 11:s goal. GuateFortín:s Jose Miguel Marin showed great skill when he stopped Adrianinho Torres:s penalty. In the 74th minute of the match Hílton Toscano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Miguel Marin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯News at 11 booed when GuateFortín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes GuateFortín got a freekick which was hit by Efren Viscarra. After having played for 77 minutes, Hílton Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ≮王者归来≯News at 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hílton Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. GuateFortín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Júnior Meirelles scored to the left of an out of position Jose Miguel Marin, making the score, 0-3. Danilo Viscarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ernani Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Miguel Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Jose Miguel Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Naohiro Takahara. After 94 minutes, Marcelo Quijada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GuateFortín and the ≮王者归来≯News at 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card.
