When DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Rocco Espinosa in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diego Eterno's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Espinosa. Pascal Sheldon hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Diego Eterno's Zeledon Sanduru got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jose Field made the kick off in the second half. Casimiro Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocco Espinosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Lawrence Eckert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casimiro Astrada. Lawrence Eckert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Casimiro Astrada was a little too slow when Rocco Espinosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rocco Espinosa got free with Casimiro Astrada in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Rocco Espinosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casimiro Astrada. Casimiro Astrada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After 90 minutes of play, Diego Eterno's Siro Salamon made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Preston Esposito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Lawrence Eckert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when Diego Eterno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Cordairo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Diego Eterno supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's performance.
