Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Quijada got the match started through his kick off. After 2 minutes, Victorio Rexino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AZURDUY F.C. and the GuateFortín players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AZURDUY F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Victorio Rexino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ricardo Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot. GuateFortín's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Mora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Cesar Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Miguel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Etxatxu in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Cloyo during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to GuateFortín getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ricardo Mora hit a great ball. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Etxatxu in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Rameriz in the 25th minute of play forced GuateFortín's goalkeeper Jose Miguel Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GuateFortín's Jose Miguel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Rexino in the 27th minute of play. Ulises Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Quijada in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Etxatxu came free, but Jose Miguel Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GuateFortín's Marcelo Quijada got a free kick in the 34th minute. Teofilo Etxatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 45 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Ricardo Mora made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulises Bastian was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Etxatxu to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Mora in the 53rd minute of play forced AZURDUY F.C.'s goalkeeper Ulises Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, AZURDUY F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Louis to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Louis hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Marcelo Quijada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulises Bastian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Oporto, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes AZURDUY F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Rexino. Ulises Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Oporto in the 72nd minute of the match. Victorio Rexino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Miguel Marin having to interfere. Ricardo Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AZURDUY F.C.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because GuateFortín had won, even though AZURDUY F.C. had held more of the ball.
