After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Higinio Lordi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Lawrence Eckert got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Lassiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Preston Esposito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Pio. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Maximino Aznaro got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Jose Field made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Santo. Amboy FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Atilano Fidencio hit a great ball. Severiano Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Field, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Severiano Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Santo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rocco Espinosa's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. After 19 minutes, Maximino Aznaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amboy FC and the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Aznaro kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Field came free, but Severiano Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Cloyo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Maximino Aznaro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jose Field made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Israel Montae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Santo was a little too slow when Rocco Espinosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. 65 minutes into the game, Rocco Espinosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severiano Santo. Rocco Espinosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Rocco Espinosa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Severiano Santo. That made the score 0-4 after 70 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Severiano Santo threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lawrence Eckert, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 82 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Pio came free, but Preston Esposito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Santo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jose Field sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Joaquin Ipar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Field sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. During the 91st minute of the match Joaquin Ipar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joaquin Ipar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Ipar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
